ควบคุมค่ากรดด่างของน้ำให้อยู่ที่ 6.59.0
ควรให้ความชื้นอย่างสม่ำเสมอ
3. แสงแดง
โดยส่วนใหญ่แล้ว ผักกินใบเช่นใบแมงลัก กระเพา โหระพา ผักชี ชอบแสงแดดปานกลาง
ผักกินผลเช่นพวกถั่ว ฟักทอง หรือไม้ผลชนิดต่างๆส่วนใหญ่จะชอบแสงแดดจัด พื้นที่ปลูกต้องโล่งกว้าง ไม่มีไม้ใหญ่บดบัง จะได้คุณภาพผลผลิตที่ดี
