พี่เล่ เกษตรกรผู้สืบสานการทำเกษตรต่อจากพ่อ แต่ก่อนพี่เล่ทำงานเป็นวิศวกร หลังจากพ่อป่วยจึงตัดสินใจลาออกและพาครอบครัวกลับมาทำเกษตรกับพ่อที่ไร่ พี่เล่อยากปลูกพืชผักที่ปลอดสารพิษให้กับคนในครอบครัวกินจึงหันมาทำเกษตรแบบอินทรีย์ รวมทั้งได้นำความรู้จากการเป็นวิศวกรของตนมาพัฒนาระบบการให้น้ำพืชผักในไร่ทำให้ลดเวลาการทำงานลงอีกด้วย

\”ป๋วย อึ๊งภากรณ์\” เข้ารับตำแหน่งอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ในปี พ.ศ. 2518 แต่ผ่านไปเพียง 1 ปีเศษ วันที่โศกสลดที่สุดวันหนึ่งในสังคมไทยก็มาถึง เหตุการณ์ 6 ตุลาคม 2519 ทำให้ป๋วยต้องลาออกจากตำแหน่งและเดินทางออกจากประเทศไทย กลายเป็นอีกหนึ่งคนดีที่ประเทศนี้ไม่ต้องการ
