คุณพัชรินทร จำรัส ลูกสาวแม่ทองปอน ผู้สืบทอดภูมิปัญญาปลาส้มจากบรรพบุรุษที่ตกทอดกันมารุ่นสู่รุ่น ในช่วงแรกทำการผลิตและจัดจำหน่ายโดยกลุ่มสตรีสหกรณ์ผู้ผลิตปลาส้มบ้านสันเวียงใหม่ ซึ่งเป็นการรวมตัวกันของคนในชุมชน หลังจากนั้นปลาส้มของแม่ทองปอนได้รับความนิยมและเป็นที่ต้องการของตลาดมากขึ้น จึงมีความต้องการที่จะใช้วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีเข้ามาพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และกระบวนการผลิต จึงมีโอกาสได้เข้าร่วมโครงการบ่มเพาะธุรกิจวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมกับอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา โดยพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่และขายธุรกิจควบคู่กับการขยายตลาดในนาม ห้างหุ้นส่วนจำกัดปลาส้มไร้ก้างแม่ทองปอน ซึ่งปัจจุบันได้มีการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ให้มีความหลากหลาย เพื่อตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของลูกค้าที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น โดยห้างหุ้นส่วนปลาส้มแม่ทองปอนยังได้สอดแทรกวิถีชีวิต รอยยิ้มและความร่วมมือของคนในชุมชนด้วยการใช้วัตถุดิบที่มาจากชุมชน ซึ่งอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ได้เข้ามาสนับสนุนและให้ความสำคัญในการยกระดับธุรกิจชุมชน ทำให้คนในชุมชนมีรายได้และมีความสุข
