เริ่มจากผม (นายรุ่งนที คำเรืองฤทธิ์) ลาออกจากการเป็นวิศวะกรโรงงาน กลับมาอยู่บ้านกับครอบครัว มาเห็นกระเป๋าผักตบชวา ที่ป้าๆ ในหมู่บ้านสานกันแค่ 3 คน จึงเข้าไปนั่งคุยกับป้าๆ ถึงสิ่งที่กำลังทำอยู่ว่า ที่แท้จริง คือ วิถีชีวิตของคนหล่ายกว๊านพะเยา ที่ทำมานานแล้ว คือการเอาผักตบชาวา ที่เป็นวัชพืช ในกว๊านมาสานเป็นของใช้ เช่น ตะกร้าใส่ของไปวัด จนปัจจุบันพัฒนามาเป็นกระเป๋า และเริ่มสานกระเป๋าขาย เมื่อเริ่มแรกกลุ่มมี 30 คน แต่ไม่มีตลาดรองรับ ลูกค้ายังเข้าไม่ถึง มันทำให้เกิดแนวคิดทำการตลาดให้กับป้าๆ ในหมู่บ้าน เพื่อสร้างรายได้เสริมให้กับคนในชุมชน และอนุรักษ์ภูมิปัญญาชาวบ้านที่มีมานาน จนปัจจุบันมีสมาชิก 26 คน และปัจจุบันลินชวา มีการออกแบบกระเป๋าแบบใหม่ๆ และตกแต่งกระเป๋าตามแบบที่ลูกค้าต้องการ มีกลุ่มลูกค้าตั้งแต่อายุ 1860 ปี
