การเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านเทคโนโลยี สภาพภูมิอากาศ การแข่งขันทางการค้าและการเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ ล้วนเป็นปัจจัยที่กรมส่งเสริมการเกษตรนำมาพิจารณาจัดทำ\”แผนยุทธศาสตร์ส่งเสริมการเกษตร ระยะ 20 ปี พ ศ 2560 – 2579\” และกำหนดวิสัยทัศน์ คือ เกษตรกรมีความเข้มแข็ง มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี ใช้เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม และมีรายได้ที่มั่นคง โดยแบ่งเกษตรกรเป้าหมายพัฒนาออกเป็น 3 กลุ่มหลัก คือ1.)เกษตรกรที่ผลิตเพื่อการยังชีพ 2.)เกษตรกรที่ผลิตแบบกึ่งพาณิชย์ 3.)เกษตรกรที่ผลิตเชิงพาณิชย์ ซึ่งแต่ละกลุ่มจะมีแนวทางส่งเสริมอย่างไรนั้น เชิญรับชมได้ในคลิปนี้
