กบประหลาด โคตรดุ ไม่ร้องอบๆ แต่ร้องเหมือนตุ๊กตาเด็ก
มติชนทีวี 16 มกราคม 2558 พบกบแปลกประหลาดร้องเสียงคล้ายตุ๊กตา ที่บ้านของนายบุญรอดกับนางดาวเรือง ปรากฎรัฐ อายุ 53 ปี และ52 ปี สองสามีภรรยา ซึ่งเปิดเป็นร้านขายอาหารตามสั่ง อยู่ที่บ้านแกใหญ่ ตำบลแกใหญ่ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุรินทร์
นาย บุญรอด บอกว่า ช่วงปีใหม่ที่ผ่านมา ได้ไปชื้อกบที่เพื่อนบ้านเลี้ยงไว้ขาย มา 8 ตัว และทำอาหารขายไปแล้ว 4 ตัว เหลืออีก 4 ตัว กระโดดหนี 1 ตัว เหลือ 3 ตัว แต่กบตัวหนึ่งมีพฤติการณ์แปลก ชอบส่งเสียงร้องแว้ๆ เหมือนไม่ใช่เสียงกบ เป็นเสียงคล้ายเสียงนก หรือเสียงตุ๊กตาของเล่นเด็กที่เวลาบีบ เมื่อลมออกมา จะมีเสียงดังตามมา และกบตัวนี้ ดุ ด้วย เมื่อมีสิ่งของเข้าไปใกล้ตัวมัน มันจะกระโดดงับ อย่างเอามือเราไปใกล้ตัวมัน มันก็จะกระโดดงับ
นายบุญรอด บอกอีกว่า มันแปลกจน ไม่กล้าเอาไปทำอาหาร คิดว่าจะเอาไปคืนเจ้าของฟาร์มกบที่ไปชื้อมา แต่ก็ตัดใจขังไว้ในโอ่งน้ำที่บ้าน แต่ก็จะไม่ทำอะไร กบทั้งสามตัวนี้ จะเลี้ยงไว้ และอาจเอาไปปล่อยตามท้องนา มันแปลกที่มันส่งเสียงร้อง ที่ไม่ใช่เสียงกบ เป็นเสียงคล้ายเสียงนกร้อง เสียงดังมาก ไม่ร้อง อบๆเหมือนกบทั่วไป ขนาดเพื่อนบ้าน ที่อยู่บ้านใกล้เคียง ยังแปลกใจว่า ใครเอาของเด็กเล่นมาเล่น ทุกวัน นอกจากนี้ เวลามันกัดกันเองในโอ่งน้ำ ที่ขังพวกมันเอาไว้ เสียงก็จะยิ่งดังเป็นพิเศษ
