The young man from Liberia who may have Ebola starts vomiting blood everywhere without control and Lauren goes straight away to help him. However, when the patient is stabilised, Dr. Max Eggold realises that Lauren’s globe has been punctured; she’s been exposed.
From Season 1 Episode 1 \”Pilot\”: Dr. Max Goodwin shakes up the status quo on his first day as a medical director of New Amsterdam, while simultaneously dealing with his own personal issues.
New Amsterdam (2017) SYNOPSIS: Dr. Max Goodwin is brilliant, charming and the new medical director at America’s oldest public hospital. While he’s set on tearing down the bureaucracy to provide exceptional care, the doctors and staff are not so sure. They’ve heard this before, and no one else has delivered on those promises. Not taking no for an answer, Max disrupts the status quo and proves he will stop at nothing to breathe new life into this understaffed, underfunded and underappreciated hospital the only one in the world capable of treating Ebola patients, prisoners from Rikers Island and the president of the United States all under one roof and return it to the glory that put it on the map. Inspired by Bellevue in New York City.

UN Chamber Music Society Concert: International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
25 November 2021 – In observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, on 25 November 2021, the UN Chamber Music Society of the United Nations Staff Recreation Council (UNCMS), will perform a concert dedicated to helping to eliminate violence against women and girls. Since the outbreak of COVID19, emerging data and reports from those on the front lines, have shown that all types of violence against women and girls, particularly domestic violence, has intensified. This is the Shadow Pandemic growing amidst the COVID19 crisis, and we need a global collective effort to stop it. More needs to be done to prioritize addressing violence against women in COVID19 response and recovery efforts. As countries implemented lockdown measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus, violence against women, especially domestic violence, intensified – in some countries, calls to helplines have increased fivefold.
On this occasion, the UN Chamber Music Society will dedicate this concert to organizations committed to helping to eliminate violence against women: Violence Against Women aims to bring about societal change to members of the Palestinian society, especially women, by providing the right to a decent life, equality and equal. Headquartered in Nazareth, the organization is committed to eliminating violence directed against women must be eliminated, as well as the conditions for women’s oppression. HACEY Health Initiative works to improve the health and productivity of women and girls in Nigeria and underserved populations in Africa. Their programmes integrates health and economic empowerment programs, and addresses the root causes of genderbased violence by expanding opportunities to finance, counseling, and psychosocial support to women and girls across Nigeria.
Opening remarks will be delivered by Melissa Fleming, UN UnderSecretaryGeneral for Global Communications. The concert will feature special performances from musicians of Daniel Barenboim’s WestEastern Divan Orchestra, including violinist Yamen Saadi; the Karajan Trio of the Berlin Philharmonic, Syrian clarinetist Kinan Azmeh, and the Trio Joubran. Founded in 2016, the UN Chamber Music Society is dedicated to promoting the United Nations’ goals and values at large through the universal language of music.

Impact of Covid Pandemic on the World.
The COVID19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus pandemic, is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV2). It was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The World Health Organization declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern in January 2020 and a pandemic in March 2020. Symptoms of COVID19 are highly variable, ranging from none to severe illness. The virus spreads mainly through the air when people are near each other.[b] It leaves an infected person as they breathe, cough, sneeze, or speak and enters another person via their mouth, nose, or eyes. It may also spread via contaminated surfaces. People remain infectious for up to two weeks, and can spread the virus even if they do not show symptoms
