  1. This is gold.

Sinek tried lecturing to the company that wrote the book on culture and anti-hierarchy policy. 😂

Tony consoling him infront of the audience that already got it, was just just epic.

Rest in peace, Tony Hsieh. 😢

  2. He was a „weird“ creature. He was such an inspiration.

I didn’t know there was a talk of these two beautiful humans although I am big fan of them (I put the blame on YouTube😂)

  3. This video is absolute fire. This video truly expresses and shows the root and the rich truth about the real and true human experience involving the work place. In corporate “America “ you are not allowed to be a human being. You are not truly allowed to grow and to teach. Tony was a great example and teacher. I really hope that more companies try to adopt this strategy.

  4. Who else is here because Tony passed away? His book was one of my faves ever, and I’ve learned so many lessons that I’ve applied in my career

  5. The platform you are setting in corporations is ultimately creating a foundation for the addictive, frustrated society. A opportunity for all of the truly great minds to operate effectively. Thank you again!

  6. Always love to hear your input as I'm on my way to creating a company from the ground up in the lovely city of Detroit. Keep up the empathetic. ethical approach. I stress, emphasize and speak passionately on the importance on these two very powerful tools. My journey of empathy is a tough road and probably the most difficult, unexpected journey to make it through. Especially when you must become different faces and do the most unmanageable tasks in order to truly be one with your environment. I'm doing whatever it TAKES to create a way to provide sustainable profitable resources in one of the most deserted, abandoned city's in America. Detroit has endured a lot of pain and as one, I believe gained a type of cancer. As the voice of Detroit my team and I are determined to find a cure for our social cancer.

  7. If people are parented correctly people would automatically have a lot of the leadership skills. Shame there is a downfall in good parenting hence Simon's argument to put responsibility on companies to teach their workforce

  8. Simon Sinek and Tony Hsieh are the two people who have had the greatest impact on how I see the world as a leader and as a human being. I so wish I had the resources to be able to sit down for just one hour with Simon and Tony. Once again, I must say THANK YOU to you both!

  9. It seems like Tony was influenced by no one to create the firefly light. This gives me the idea that I can live life with things that made themselves. Examples: I never needed a gym to workout, but it does help. 🙂

  10. I envision the same world. I'm going to be 30 at the end of January and I'm taking a vacation. I saw a guy in an accident and went to see how I could help. I was offended that I was asked why and what food I wanted to order. That's not what I was thinking I just said a taco twelve pack lol… I was focused on the injured guy. I helped but EMS was needed. I hope he got helped properly. Watched everyone show up and help and made sure he was okay before I could eat or smile propely… but why is why a question?

It's a longer story. I just don't think it'd be fit for a YouTube comment. Also I'm reeling it all back in. Gotta try to focus on what went right not wrong.

  12. It is always amazing to me that some leaders still do not see how they set the culture in what they do not what they say. I appreciate that Simon always brings his points on company culture to the surface by using the family metaphor.

  13. Ikigai Concept of Circles ⭕ is Concept of Fluid Culture. Please read the book Fluid- Human Beings are not Left Brained or Right Brained they are Whole Brained. Businessmen should not do only Business, Artist should not do only Art, Scientists should not do only Science, IT Guys should not restrict themselves to Technology. Aristotle was inept in all Subjects, Leonardo Da Vinci was not just nut a Painteer and a Sculpture, Human Beings are Inter Disciplinary in nature. 🙂
